What’s involved?
Cambridge University Engineering Society are pleased to be running an Online Access Week for secondary school students who are interested in Engineering.
Activities include admissions talks and lectures by Cambridge academics, as well as a Q&A with current undergraduates and a problem-solving session.
Content will be uploaded online over the week and can be accessed at any point after this.

Eligibility
This event is open for all ages but specifically aimed at students in Year 11/12 (England and Wales; S4/5 Scotland, Year 12/13 Northern Ireland)
You are eligible to participate if you fulfil the any of the following, as part of our commitment to widening participation:
- Attend a UK state (non-fee-paying) school
- Will be the first in your family to go to university (i.e. your parents/carers did not attend university; excludes siblings)
- Attend a school which sends few students to Cambridge or Oxford
- Have spent any time in care
- Are or have been eligible for free school meals, or the 16-19 bursary
- Are a refugee
- Has significant caring responsibilities (e.g. for a parent/carer or siblings that affects you ability/time to study)
- Live in an area identified as having lower socio-economic advantage or low progression rates to higher education
- Are from an underrepresented ethnic group
- Identify as female or non-binary
