'A practical field lesson in resolving vectors, Rally Barbados 2007'

"The image is from 2007 Rally Barbados, a two-day, closed public road, tarmac rally around the Caribbean island of Barbados. The photo is unadulterated. The photo is a rally stage called 'Malvern East' and was taken by a friend Carlin Gerbich. The driver of the car (rhs of car) is indeed myself! The car is my own and was constructed by me."

Graduated: 1986 St Catharine's College.
Biog: "Shortly after graduating in 1986, I joined Ilmor Engineering, which later became Mercedes-Ilmor and latterly Mercedes-Benz HighPerformanceEngines. At Ilmor I was variously in Senior Engineer, Project Manager type roles primarily responsible for Indycar racing engine development. My last project was to manage the successful implementation of Rotary Valve technology for the Mclaren Mercedes F1 engine - a dream project for an Engineer, challenging, enthralling and truly pioneering. Latterly I have taken a respite from engine development. Though still acting as an engine consultant, I have drifted towards messing around with racing cars, through competition, preparation and restoration at professional and private levels."
