Research

My research interests include reliable computation with unreliable hardware; using information theory to design better assistive technology; and sustainable energy. I have written two books, both of which are available free online: Postdoctoral researchers who would like to work with me on whole-system energy modelling are encouraged to look at the jobs being advertised by Julian Allwood.
