Lecture Theatre and Meeting Room Booking System

Charges

The facilities will be provided without charge to staff and students of the Department provided the purpose of the booking is valid Department business. All other bookings will be charged. The current rates are:

  • For Departmental staff and students any lecture or meeting room £25.00 per hour, provided that the booking relates to University business
  • £50.00 per hour for external bookings not relating to Departmental business
  • £25.00 for the provision of any AV aide (but to include any required and available) plus actual cost of the provision of an AV support technician if requested (see below).
  • If in-house refreshments are required these will be charged on an actual basis and should be agreed in advance (see below).

These room hire charges reflect the cost of the provision of the facility and the attendant administration rather than the full cost of the facility provided.

Please note that the facilities for AV services and catering differ between sites as follows:

Central Site

AV enquiries should be referred to AV Support.

Catering requirements should be discussed with the Canteen.

West Cambridge Site - IfM

AV facilities at the IfM are designed to run self-serviced. No formal AV support is available.
